In the USA, the number of people vaccinated at least once against the coronavirus has exceeded the 90 million mark. This was announced by the CDC yesterday afternoon (local time).
Of those, nearly 58.9 million have received one of two required vaccinations so far, and more than 30.7 million have received both, it said. Meanwhile, 116.4 million vaccine doses have been delivered. Covered are Pfizer/Biontech and Moderna vaccines.
About 328 million people live in the United States. U.S. President Joe Biden has announced that enough vaccine will be available by the end of May to vaccinate all adults in the United States.
